Junior Day 2024 in Aclens: Successful investment in the future of logistics

Last Saturday, September 21, 2024, the second Galliker Junior Day took place in Aclens. In summery weather, almost 150 visitors made their way to the Galliker site in Aclens, including around 50 young people. The event offered the young guests a unique opportunity to experience the professional world of transport and logistics up close and take a look behind the scenes, to talk to current apprentices and trainers at stands and, as an absolute highlight, to sit behind the wheel of a truck or forklift themselves.

All of these experiences will certainly be remembered by the participants for a long time. We hope that this day not only aroused curiosity, but also sparked new career aspirations and that the enthusiasm for our activities will be passed on.

Sustainability is multifaceted - in addition to our commitment to the environment through the increased use of renewable energies, Galliker is therefore also investing in future employees and young talent. Young people are trained in 17 apprenticeships at the family business - a wide range of different career opportunities.

This year's Galliker Junior Day in Aclens once again showed how important such events are in counteracting the shortage of skilled workers in the industry and showing young people the wide range of career opportunities in logistics. Galliker Transport would like to thank all visitors and participants for an unforgettable day.
