After five intensive days of auditing at the Altishofen site and at Imbach Schachen, Galliker Transport AG received very positive overall feedback from the SQS auditors. The recertification audits according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000 were successfully completed and all certificates will be extended for a further three years.

On 13 January 2026, Galliker Transport AG reached an important milestone: the traditional ground-breaking ceremony for the new "E-Park & Ride" project took place in Dagmersellen. At the same time, the completed E-Power Bridge was officially opened just a few metres away. Both projects are part of a modern, energy-efficient and future-oriented infrastructure for electric mobility in heavy goods transport.

Galliker Transport AG has successfully passed the ISO/IEC 27001 maintenance audit, which was carried out from January 5 to 7, 2026.

The past year has impressively demonstrated what we can achieve together as a company. In all areas - whether in our operations in Switzerland or internationally - our teams have achieved outstanding results with great commitment, responsibility and innovative strength.

On November 22, Galliker Transport AG celebrated a very special evening together with 184 employees - the traditional anniversary event. Loyal, experienced and valuable employees with 10, 20, 25, 30, 35 and even 40 years of service were honored. Together, these jubilarians have an impressive 3460 years of service - a strong sign of loyalty, passion and solidarity.

Curiosity, enthusiasm and plenty of energy - that was once again the hallmark of this year's Galliker Future Day. A total of 80 children took the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the fascinating Galliker world. Of these, 58 opted for the specially organized morning programme before accompanying their caregivers in the afternoon. The remaining 22 chose to spend the whole day with their caregiver.

The "Greenpower" innovation project in Dagmersellen will not be continued following a joint agreement between the partners involved. Following a comprehensive strategic reassessment by Emmi Switzerland, this decision was taken after consultation with the project partners. This decision reflects the economic and technological framework conditions that have materialized in the course of project development. In particular, the long-term economic viability, the complexity of implementation and the regulatory framework conditions were re-analyzed.

From November 6 to 9, 2025, we took part in the ASTAG industry exhibition at Zebi in Lucerne - and our Galliker theme island was a real crowd puller!

When it rains, most people think of wet roads or gray days. At Galliker we see it as something else - a valuable resource.

We collect rainwater at several locations and use it specifically in our operational processes - from flushing toilets and washing vehicles to watering green spaces and recooling cooling systems.

Once again this year, Galliker Transport AG was able to make a significant contribution to Auto Zürich. Around 244 vehicles from a wide range of manufacturers, importers and dealers were visually prepared, professionally transported and delivered on time to the exhibition grounds in Altishofen in the days leading up to the show.

Galliker Green Logistics is now presenting itself with a completely revamped website. The new website focuses even more strongly on our commitment to sustainable transport and logistics solutions. A modern design, clear structures and exciting insights into current projects make the platform a central point of contact for anyone interested in climate-friendly logistics.

On October 23, 2025, the Galliker family celebrated a special occasion together with 23 employees and their partners. The retirement party for the 34 employees who are going into well-deserved retirement this year.

We organized our own information day for the first time this year. The aim was to open our doors to give interested pupils a practical insight into our wide range of training professions.

On Monday, September 29, our apprentices experienced a varied and exciting day that not only gave them new impressions, but also a lot of fun.

On September 19, 2025, the renovation work in Perafita was officially completed with a small celebration. Rolf Galliker presented the successful renovation in the presence of the owners of the property, the Jervel family, various customers, the architect Mendanha, the employees of the company and the team from the Galliker Driver Academy. The roof was replaced, new, ultra-modern loading docks were built, the office wing was refreshed and all the facades were given the familiar Galliker look.

The GAZ 2025 trade exhibition took place in Hüswil from Friday to Sunday. Galliker was there as an exhibitor - and can look back on an all-round successful weekend.

SwissSkills 2025 provided an impressive stage for young professional talents from all over Switzerland - and Galliker was right in the middle of it all. Four apprentices from the fields of road transport, logistics and IT competed with a lot of passion, preparation and team spirit to measure themselves against the best in their field. It is clear to us that anyone who takes part in SwissSkills goes one step further - both professionally and personally. This is precisely why we invest in targeted preparation, practical support and a training environment with prospects with the Galliker Academy.

With the official opening of the new Lucerne Logistics Center on Saturday, 13 September 2025, Imbach Logistik AG is sending out a strong signal for Lucerne as a business location. After intensive planning and implementation in two construction phases, the completed new building in Lucerne-Littau presents itself as a state-of-the-art, fully automated center for sustainable warehouse and transport logistics. The new overall concept is regarded as a flagship project within the Galliker Group.

On September 3, 2025, we experienced an evening full of joy, pride and unforgettable moments - our apprenticeship graduation ceremony at Galliker Transport AG.

We were able to applaud 46 apprentices for their brilliant efforts and celebrate this milestone together with their parents and training supervisors. The beaming faces and the many congratulations impressively demonstrated the value of commitment, team spirit and passion.

Two special vehicles have recently joined our fleet – fully electric, quiet and powerful. The two Mercedes eActros 600 semi-trailers combine sustainable mobility with state-of-the-art technology and thus represent a future-oriented solution for our transport services.

Since mid-August 2025, Imbach Logistik AG has been the proud owner of an all-electric terminal tractor unit from German manufacturer Terberg Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH.

Last Monday, we welcomed 58 new apprentices to the Galliker Academy World. After four informative and instructive days, they were able to take their first trip together to Napf in the first week to get to know the company at its origins. We wish you a successful start to an exciting professional life and look forward to accompanying you on your journey over the next few years!

With the grand opening of the Galliker Academy World in Logistics Center 3, Galliker Transport AG is sending a strong signal for the future. In the new training center at the headquarters in Altishofen, young talents will be prepared for their professional careers in a practical, modern and targeted manner. However, Galliker Academy World is much more than just a training facility - it is a center for learning, discovery and personal development.

The new photovoltaic system has been fully operational on the roof of Imbach Logistik AG's new logistics center in Lucerne since June 2025. While the first, smaller part of the system has been producing green electricity for five years, the second phase of construction has now also been completed.

SwissSkills preparations in full swing: Galliker apprentices passionately on target

Preparations for SwissSkills 2025 are in full swing for a few Galliker apprentices. The five participants are training specifically in the areas of road transport, logistics and IT in order to optimally prepare for the national competition - with technical depth, practical exercises and a great deal of personal commitment.

We are pleased to present our CSR Report 2024/2025. As a family business, we have been consciously committed to sustainability for many years. For us, sustainability means acting responsibly and consciously in all our activities and business areas, thinking long-term and treating the environment, customers, partners and employees with respect.

The ingenious 2nd place of our project Galliker Academy World at the Swiss Logistics Award 2025 gave us enormous pleasure. "In the midst of the many innovation projects with a digital, technical or energy-related character, a company comes along and puts people at the center. That really made an impression on us!" These were the appreciative words of the jury president at the award ceremony on June 5 in the Kursaal Bern for the concept of the Galliker Academy World.

Since March 31, 2025, the fleet of the company Galliker has been expanded by another vehicle with an environmentally friendly drive. At the international headquarters in Liège (Belgium), a Volvo FH Electric has been integrated - a fully electric truck with an impressive output of up to 600 kW and a range of around 300 kilometers. The vehicle with the internal number 1.010 is used daily for short-distance operations in the port area of Ghent, where it demonstrates its strengths as a sustainable means of transportation.

Wednesday 28.05.2025 will probably go down in the history books of the Galliker Group. It is considered the official starting signal for the "Zero Emissions Network" project

The road to SwissSkills: Galliker Apprentices on their way to national success

In February 2025, Galliker Transport AG laid a fundamentally important foundation in the area of information security. During the initial ISO 27001 certification by SQS, our information security management system (ISMS) was thoroughly audited in January 2025 and officially certified by SQS in February 2025 with a positive result.

Under the motto "Moving big things together", a very special vehicle has recently joined our fleet.

Sustainable, future-oriented and innovation-driven: The all-electric Mercedes eActros 300 with a Kässbohrer body is a great addition to our fleet for the local transportation of new vehicles in Switzerland.

Thanks to its eAxle with 2 motors and up to 400 kW peak power, it accelerates powerfully and virtually without deceleration. Its lithium-ion batteries deliver a range of up to 300 km.

The eActros 300 also impresses with its latest-generation assistance systems. Active Sideguard Assist 2, Active Brake Assist 6 and Front Guard Assist support the driver for a safe and smooth ride.

On Wednesday, 19.02.2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Sales Specialists of our long-standing partner European Food Network to Switzerland. The group from 11 nations visited us to have exciting discussions on various topics. They were given an interesting insight behind the scenes of our company. The meeting was rounded off with a very impressive visit to InterCheese AG and a delicious cheese fondue.

As a member of the European Food Network, our expertise and development in the field of food logistics is of great importance to us. Together with Dachser, we had the pleasure of taking part in this year's CHEESEAFFAIR. There we were able to welcome many customers and visitors and discuss exciting topics relating to food logistics.

Trade fairs and exhibitions are an important tool for us to create proximity to customers and partners. Even in times of digital communication, nothing has changed - on the contrary: personal discussions in a relaxed environment are perhaps becoming even more important.

Over the past two days, we were able to welcome many long-standing customers and new contacts at the Logistics & Automation trade fair and discuss their needs, innovations and solutions with them.

On the evening of January 9, 2025, Galliker Transport AG was awarded the Watt d'Or 2025 for energy-efficient mobility, a prestigious Swiss prize for energy excellence. The award was presented at a festive ceremony in Bern and honored the traditional family business for its pioneering innovations in the field of sustainable, future-oriented logistics. The prize was awarded specifically for the innovative electric power tunnel project at the headquarters in Altishofen (LU).

It was a very special moment that began on the "Happy Day" show on SRF 1 in December: Peter Galliker, CEO of Galliker Transport AG, discovered little Elias playing with one of our company's model trucks at a therapy center. He spontaneously decided to ask Elias' family via Röbi Koller if he could surprise him - with two faithful Galliker truck models.

With a big THANK YOU for your trust, partnerships, cooperation and loyalty over the past year, we wish you, dear customers, partners and of course employees, a relaxing festive season and a great start to the new year. We have already reported on the Mega Charger project several times - a project that allows electric trucks to be charged at record speed for the first time. "GO! Das Schweizer Mobilitätsmagazin", has now taken this reporting to a new level: with the 10-minute documentary about the project, its technical background and the significance of the development for the entire e-mobility in the transport industry, they provide an exciting look behind the scenes. A big thank you for the great cooperation goes to "GO! Das schweizer Mobilitätsmagazin", the production agency V12 Media, as well as Designwerk and Fabian Wyssmann.

Renault Group Switzerland and Galliker Transport AG, Altishofen, are further expanding their zero-emission vehicle delivery capacities. Five e-car transporters from Galliker Green Logistics are currently delivering for the Renault Group, with a sixth car transporter starting operations in December. This means that a total of more than 13,000 vehicles can be delivered CO₂-neutral to Renault, Dacia and Alpine dealers in Switzerland every year.

Galliker Transport, Emmi, Linde Gas Switzerland and CKW are planning an ecosystem of renewable energies in Dagmersellen that is unique in Switzerland. Numerous details of the zoning plan amendment project have now been clarified, a planning report has been drawn up and the preliminary review by the cantonal authorities is underway. Shortly before the start of the public consultation, the municipality and the project partners informed the population.

Loyalty is highly valued at Galliker - be it towards business partners, suppliers or, above all, employees. This special appreciation is demonstrated every year in November when long-standing employees are honored for their loyalty. On November 23, 2024, the focus was on 158 jubilarians who celebrated their years of service in a festive atmosphere on the Sursee campus - accompanied by exciting show acts and heartfelt thanks from the Galliker family.

November is all about the future: after a successful ZEBI 2024, the national Future Day also took place today. At Galliker, around 70 schoolchildren aged between 10 and 12 were able to take a look behind the scenes of our family business for a day. At Imbach, 6 interested children of employees were also given the opportunity to accompany their parent at work for a day.

At the ZEBI education fair in Central Switzerland, Galliker put the focus on people - and visitors showed great interest. Around 450 young people took the opportunity to drive a truck themselves on an outdoor course and interactively experience the wide range of training opportunities at Galliker.

Borner supplied some of the new transformer buildings and electrical distribution boxes that were needed on our Galliker sites for the expansion of the e-mobility infrastructure. These high-quality and robust components are essential pieces of the puzzle for the electrification of our trucks.

In a further step towards a sustainable energy supply, Imbach Logistik AG was able to commission a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system at the Imbach headquarters in Schachen at the beginning of October. The new system has an impressive output of 1,156 kWp and produces around 1,204 MWh of electricity per year. This provides enough energy to supply around 256 households for a year.

With the new website, Imbach Logistik AG presents itself as more user-friendly and tailored to the needs of customers, partners and interested parties. The revised structure simplifies navigation and ensures an intuitive user experience so that you can find the information you need quickly and easily.

On Friday, October 4, 2024, EY presented the prestigious annual award for the "EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Switzerland 2024". Our company owners Peter Galliker, Rolf Galliker and Esther Studer-Galliker were presented with the award in the "Family Business" category at the award gala in the KKL Lucerne. Many thanks to EY and all the jury members involved for this great honor. A big thank you also goes to all Galliker employees who made a major contribution to Galliker receiving this award.

As part of an article in Tagesanzeiger & Fokus.swiss, Peter and Rolf Galliker had the opportunity to talk about the "Future of Supply Chain" and thus also about the wide-ranging topic of sustainability. An exciting interview provides an insight into the mindset of the Galliker brothers, as well as their goals, strategies and assessment of the future of the transport industry.

The professional world of transport and logistics is diverse. At Galliker Transport AG, a total of 15 other professions are trained upstream and downstream of the central areas of road transport specialists and logisticians: From commercial professions to IT specialists, plumbers, painters and mechatronics engineers with various specializations.

Last Saturday, September 21, 2024, the second Galliker Junior Day took place in Aclens. In summery weather, almost 150 visitors made their way to the Galliker site in Aclens, including around 50 young people. The event offered the young guests a unique opportunity to experience the professional world of transport and logistics up close and take a look behind the scenes, to talk to current apprentices and trainers at stands and, as an absolute highlight, to sit behind the wheel of a truck or forklift themselves.

On June 4, 2024, the time had finally come: the long-awaited mega charger and battery storage unit from Designwerk arrived at the company premises of Galliker Transport AG in Altishofen. The impressive 25-tonne device, filled with state-of-the-art technology and innovation, not only brought with it an impressive 960 kWh battery capacity, but also promises to enable fast charging of up to 1 MW in the future.

The 21st PV system of Galliker Transport AG was put into operation in Möhlin in August. Since then, the system on the roof of Logistics Center 2 has been producing electricity for the building with an output of over 900 kWp - in future, this electricity production is to be used for the entire Galliker site in Möhlin. The necessary structural and technical work is already being planned.

Last week, the apprentices of the 2024 graduation year were honored at the Galliker apprenticeship graduation ceremony. However, only 20% of them were bid farewell, as the majority of former apprentices are continuing their careers at Galliker. The 43 apprenticeship graduates from Galliker and its subsidiary Imbach Logistik were trained in a total of 17 different apprenticeships, which are divided into 6 different "Galliker Academies". in 2024, there were 5 honorary mentions among all graduates.

Since July 2024, a car transporter with an all-electric drive has been used for the first time to transport Mercedes-Benz models from the Sindelfingen plant to Switzerland. The e-truck from Galliker transports the vehicles over approx. 270 km to the headquarters of Galliker in Altishofen. The use of electric and complementary HVO drives will result in CO2 savings of around 600 tons per year, which will make a significant contribution to reducing the ecological footprint and promoting sustainable transport solutions.

Following the great success of the event in Altishofen in May, which offered the young participants a unique opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of the transport and logistics industry at close quarters, the event will be held in Aclens on September 21.

Reducing the consumption of oil and natural gas and thus achieving net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050 - this is the goal of the Swiss Climate and Innovation Act, which will come into force on January 1, 2025.

Car Logistics is committed to sustainability - not only in terms of e-car transporters or solar systems, but also in terms of electric vehicles for passenger transportation on our own premises. Our Galliker jockey team, which is responsible for moving customer vehicles (new and used cars) from A to B on the Galliker site - be it from vehicle preparation to loading, to the car wash or other movements - are now being transported from A to B using two eVitos, among other things. The new vehicles were put into operation at the end of July and underline our commitment to sustainable development.

On January 1, 2024, the building in Nebikon previously leased to Meier + Tobler was incorporated into our own operations as LC7 following extensive renovations - with the aim of not only using the existing space, but also continuously expanding the warehouse and logistics area. With the completion of the extension, we now have a total area of 16,000 m2 at our disposal in LC7.

We are delighted to welcome 40 new apprentices to Galliker and 7 new apprentices to Imbach! You will start your training period with two exciting introductory weeks, during which you will have the opportunity to get to know our company and settle into your new environment.

The well-being of employees has been at the heart of Galliker since the family business was founded. Measures to prevent accidents and injuries are therefore promoted on an ongoing basis. Nevertheless, accidents - both during and outside of working hours - and the resulting injuries and, in some cases, longer-term impairments to the ability to work cannot be completely avoided. In order to be able to reintegrate employees into everyday working life in the best possible way, even if their ability to work is impaired, a protective workstation was set up at Logistics Center 4 in Altishofen. This is already the second workplace of its kind, together with the protective workplace set up at LC1 at the same time.

On Wednesday, July 3, the Galliker Innovation Day 2024 took place in Altishofen. Around 200 invited guests were given an insight into the Swiss family-owned company's commitment to sustainability, development and innovation through guided tours and various keynote speeches. Parallel to the actual event, the Designwerk Mega Charger, a battery storage system with a fast-charging station for electric trucks, was put into operation on the grounds of the Galliker headquarters. Culinary highlights at the flying lunch and an aperitif at the end of the event provided opportunities for personal exchanges and networking discussions.

Summer is here and the vacation mood is rising! We wish all employees, customers and partners a well-deserved break and a relaxing summer vacation.

As a partner and service provider for UCB, we have been transporting and storing various pharmaceutical products for several years. As part of the transports, which take place both nationally and internationally, we used a Galliker e-truck in a test run for the first time. The 800 km route from UCB Farchim SA in Bulle (CH) to Recipharm in Pianezza (IT) and back was mastered with the electric truck from Designwerk with an autonomous range of 500 km - saving an impressive 842 kg of CO2 emissions on the outward and return journey.

The e-truck fleet of Galliker Transport AG continues to grow steadily. In summer 2024, Designwerk will be adding more new e-autoporters - a further contribution to the Green Logistics goal that at least half of the fleet should be based on an alternative drive by 2040. However, to ensure that the electric vehicles can be operated quickly and immediately integrated into the operational process, it is essential to provide the appropriate e-charging infrastructure. Recently, the E-Power-Terminal, positioned in the Car Logistics area, became the 15th location to contribute to the capacity of the Galliker charging infrastructure with a further 12 charging connections as a central point.

Together with CKW and other partners, we have made great progress in the development of our charging infrastructure in recent months and years. One of the milestones is our e-power tunnel, which supplies 28 truck parking spaces with electricity for the installed charging stations. Last Monday we were able to put four Volvo FH Electrics into operation for our branch in Italy, which are mainly used for the transportation of spare parts.

The procurement and operation of electric commercial vehicles has been part of our daily business for more than four years. Around two years ago, we took another important step towards sustainable mobility for our company: in addition to commercial vehicles, we also began gradually replacing our employees' company vehicles with electric vehicles. This process initially started with some of the management, where over 50% of the vehicles are now electric.

Michael Vogel has been part of the Galliker team for almost 17 years. As head of the workshop at Galliker Car Centers, he deals with the development of mobility and the use of renewable energies on a daily basis. A few years ago, his employer's commitment inspired him to think about investing in sustainable energy generation in his private life as well. A good two years ago, he decided to install a PV system in his own home and shortly afterwards upgraded it with a battery storage system. He is filled with pride when he talks about the system - a glance at his home in Altishofen illustrates his enthusiasm, which only grows as the benefits increase.

The event offered the young guests a unique opportunity to experience the professional world of transport and logistics up close and take a look behind the scenes, to talk to current apprentices and trainers at interactive stands and, as an absolute highlight, to sit behind the wheel of a truck or forklift themselves.

Lindt & Sprüngli and Galliker have been working together for almost two decades, with one particular route standing out: since 2005, Galliker has been responsible for transportation between the production site in Kilchberg and the warehouse in Altendorf. With up to 10 trips per day, packaging materials are transported in one direction and finished goods in the other - always maintaining the required temperature conditions for the sensitive chocolate products.

For months, a brisk stream of around 600 temperature-controlled trucks travel to and from Altishofen - loaded with a total of more than 50,000 pallets of Easter products. The long lead time is the result of the high production volume, which the producers would not be able to handle in a shorter time. Production, transport, storage and customizing interlock like cogwheels to supply Swiss supermarkets, grocery stores and small delicatessens with chocolate bunnies, chocolate eggs and other sweet temptations at Easter time. As a delicate cargo, the chocolate is not only transported at a controlled temperature, but is also stored in a product-specific manner and processed in customizing if required.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Daniel Zumbühl (Surseer Woche) to Altishofen - he accompanied our driver Sebastian Meier on a tour with the electric truck: "E-mobility is about to conquer the transport and logistics industry. The company Galliker already has well over 30 electrically powered trucks in use. Sebastian Meier from Triengen is regularly on the road with them. This newspaper was recently allowed to accompany him."

On February 8, Galliker Transport AG put its first eCube battery storage system from eSpectrum AG into operation. The eCube is an innovative storage system that provides solar power produced during the day for on-demand use, thus enabling a sustainable energy supply for the electric commercial vehicles from Galliker. By integrating the eCube into the existing infrastructure of Galliker Transport AG, the vehicles, which generally only return to their location in the evening, can also be charged with green electricity during the night. This helps to reduce the company's environmental impact and cut energy costs.

It takes some getting used to: a 40-ton truck that you can hardly hear and only uses batteries to transport goods throughout Switzerland. However, we are relying more and more on electric and hydrogen trucks. 15 years after the opening of the Galliker branch in the Ticino municipality of Sant'Antonino, the ground-breaking ceremony for the site's second logistics building took place on December 13, 2023. The new building will create an additional 7,700 square meters of logistics space in southern Switzerland - an essential step for the location, which acts as a hub on the north-south axis. The new logistics center is being built with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility, in line with the values of the family-owned company Galliker.

In collaboration with Designwerk Technologies AG, Galliker will be using the Megawatt Charging System from spring 2024 to store its own solar power and as a battery buffer for charging its own electric fleet. Designwerk's new Mega Charger was presented to the media, partners and customers in Winterthur on November 28 - as a pioneering project that is also intended to significantly advance the electrification of the heavy transport industry in the spirit of "Green Logistics by Galliker".

It is part of the company tradition and is an annual highlight for the Galliker family: The anniversary evening, at which those employees who have celebrated between 10 and 50 years of service and have thus helped shape the family business Galliker over the past decades are honored.

2021 saw the launch of "Green Logistics by Galliker" - a long-term strategy rather than just a temporary project.

Just under a year after the commissioning of our medium-voltage electricity grid on our northern site in Altishofen / Dagmersellen (see article from May 16, 2023), the second site grid also went into operation on October 24, 2023, this time in the southern part of our site.

A ride in a truck: this was possible at the Galliker Road Days - for all those interested in the everyday life of a chauffeur.

With a transport from the production site in Eschholzmatt to Melsungen (Germany), we were able to prove that electric mobility is also suitable for international long-distance transportation. Once we arrived at the B. Braun headquarters in Melsungen, we were able to present ourselves and the e-truck at the international B. Braun logistics event. The e-truck completed the outward and return journey fully loaded with B. Braun products very successfully.

In September 2023, Logistics Center 5 became the tenth PV system to go into operation at the company's headquarters in Altishofen. The installed output of around 820 kWp and the expected production volume of over 1,000 MWh will make a significant contribution to covering the future electricity requirements necessary for the expansion of electromobility.

Our team at the La Chaux de Fonds branch was delighted and proud to take delivery of a new 100% electric Mercedes truck.

As an extension of the "Experience Energy" exhibition at the Museum of Transport Lucerne, the electrically powered Galliker truck will go on the road from fall 2023. Since spring 2023, we have been producing our own green and sustainably produced solar power with our own photovoltaic system on the roof of our logistics center in Melzo (IT).

The branch in Ticino is predestined for the use of CO2-neutral vehicles. Following the commissioning of the first Volvo FL Electric at the beginning of October 2022, additional vehicles with electric drives have been added to the fleet on an ongoing basis. Since the beginning of February 2023, 2 more photovoltaic systems have been producing electricity on our roofs in Altishofen. With the systems on Logistics Center 2 (994 kWp) and Logistics Center 3 (919 kWp), the amount of electricity we produce annually across Switzerland has increased to over 13,800 MWh.

LANDI Luzern-West has put one of the most powerful hydrogen filling stations in Europe into operation at its site in Schötz. Three trucks and one car can be refueled with green hydrogen at the same time. The filling station is an energy hub and thus a pioneer for the logistics and mobility of the future.

Battery-buffered charging container to make commercial vehicles suitable for long journeys and relieve pressure on power grids. Designwerk Technologies AG, based in Winterthur, is building a new type of megawatt-class charging station. It is designed to enable fast charging of electric trucks within 45 minutes.

It was with great pride and pleasure that our team at the Aclens (VD) branch took delivery of their first fully electric Volvo A Electric tractor unit in combination with the second electrically powered refrigerated trailer.

After the first Volvo FL Electric arrived in Ticino at the beginning of October, four more 100% electric vehicles from Designwerk were added to our vehicle fleet in S. Antonino in October and November.

Galliker Transport, Emmi, PanGas and CKW are planning an ecosystem of renewable energies in Dagmersellen that is unique in Switzerland. The centerpiece is a large wood-fired cogeneration plant that will produce heat and renewable energy, including for green hydrogen, from 2027. The project is an important step towards achieving the energy strategy goals of the participating companies and Switzerland. The four partners anticipate costs in the region of CHF 200 million.

Galliker is consistently driving forward the development of CO2-neutral vehicles. On March 8, the family-owned company headquartered in Altishofen took delivery of the world's first fully electric car transporter. In future, it will deliver new vehicles throughout Switzerland with zero emissions.

The wholly-owned Galliker subsidiary Bigtrans AG, which is active in the residual wood trade (sawmill by-products such as wood chips, sawdust, bark, etc.) and bulk transportation (waste paper, waste cardboard, waste and energy wood, wood pellets and various bulk goods), has been FSC and PEFC certified for 10 years.

Our in-house operations engineering team recently took to the road with our first electric Fiat E-Ducato, ensuring that all our modern equipment is running smoothly and everything is perfectly maintained.

The two new Cargo eBikes have been successfully tested at the Galliker sites in Altishofen and Plan-les-Ouates (Geneva) for several weeks. The eBikes are being used for the internal courier service as well as for individual orders in the area of city logistics.

In collaboration with CombiFuel Swiss AG (CFS), Galliker launched a joint project in May 2021, which is currently at an advanced stage of development and has made significant progress to date.

We still have a few gas burners that supply buildings and premises with heat. Our building technology department is constantly working on eliminating them where possible and sensible and replacing them with environmentally friendly heating systems.

In mid-November 2021, the first refrigerated trailer with a fully electrically powered refrigeration unit will go into operation at Galliker thanks to the innovative and cooperative partnership with Carrier Transicold in Switzerland.

Galliker Transport AG, Friderici Special, Avesco Rent and Futuricum present two fully electric tractor units, each with a battery capacity of 900 kWh. This is a world first "Engineered in Switzerland". This brings electric mobility to heavy and special transportation and sets a clear signal in the logistics industry.

At Logistics Center 2 in Möhlin, the use of waste heat from the refrigeration system was optimized this summer. Thanks to the necessary hydraulic and software adjustments, a higher heat output of around 100 kW and longer operating times were achieved.

Last Tuesday, 28.09.2021, Galliker was a guest at the German-Swiss H2 Forum in Constance as a reference company for the use of H2 trucks in logistics.

Every day, we transport temperature-sensitive care and beauty products as well as perfume from A to B. Estée Lauder not only relies on the highest quality, but also attaches great importance to an environmentally friendly supply chain.

The 100% electric Volvo truck from the fleet of the Conthey branch of Galliker has recently started to appear in the Sion/Sierre and Martigny region. On the road for food and pharmaceutical customers, the silent and emission-free truck is not only positively perceived by the customers of Galliker but also by pedestrians in the towns and the neighbors of the pick-up and delivery locations.

On September 28, 2021, application examples of hydrogen technology from Switzerland and Baden-Württemberg will be presented at the Bodenseeforum Konstanz and in a parallel online session. Galliker will be present at the forum as a user example for Switzerland.

Since mid-December 2020, the Galliker Staad branch in eastern Switzerland has been CO2-neutral with the first Hyundai hydrogen truck in its fleet.

Galliker is launching a test project from June 2021 with the use of Green Diesel HVO as an admixture to fossil diesel.

In December 2020, Nestlé presented a climate action plan: The Group wants to halve its emissions by 2030 and reduce them to net zero by 2050. Galliker is supporting its long-standing customer in achieving this goal: a hydrogen truck is on the road exclusively for Nestlé as part of a "dedicated service".

Galliker Transport SA, Liége in Belgium has been part of the Belgian Ecocombi pilot project since April 2018. Every day, Galliker uses the Ecocombi to transport temperature-controlled healthcare products from the production plant in Lessines to the main warehouse at Galliker in Liége.

First electric truck for Imbach: The first fully electric truck was handed over to Imbach Logistik AG in January 2021.

The Swiss Federal Office of Energy awards the renowned Swiss Watt d'Or 2021 energy prize in the "Energy-efficient mobility" category to the hydrogen ecosystem for emission-free mobility.

For the second time since 2017, a building by the company Galliker has won the Swiss Solar Prize. The solar installation on the Car House in Altishofen was honored with an output of 1.97 megawatts.

On October 7, Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility AG handed over the very first series-produced hydrogen-electric commercial vehicles to the company Galliker and six other Swiss companies.

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, Galliker presented its alternative transport and logistics solutions and its intentions for a sustainable future to an interested audience at the first Galliker Green Logistics Day.

On January 30, 2020, Galliker took delivery of the first Volvo FL Electric from series production.
