The expansion of our e-truck charging infrastructure is picking up speed

We have set ourselves a major goal by promising to be CO2 neutral by 2050. However, Galliker is not afraid to actively tackle this goal today with a great deal of drive. The right infrastructure is needed to ensure that the e-trucks that are constantly being put into operation get enough "juice". That is why we have decided to set up several fast-charging stations for our growing fleet of e-trucks at our headquarters in Altishofen and at all our branches.

With these stations, which have an output of 380 kW to 400 kW, extremely efficient and fast charging is also possible for large battery storage systems. The expansion has picked up speed and various stations are already in operation, with more to follow in the coming months. The appropriate software monitors the processes so that it is always possible to see on the screen where which vehicle is being charged with which power.

In addition to these fast charging stations, several truck parking spaces in Altishofen will also be equipped with stations with a capacity of up to 200 kW. In doing so, Galliker is relying on an extremely innovative and space-saving system that was developed together with our partners. Charging station technology and charging cables are installed underground. They are therefore perfectly protected from any external influences and enable the driver to charge his truck easily, cleanly and without complications and without a lot of "cable clutter". This is also "logistics taken to the next level". Another milestone has already been reached with the order of the first two bidirectional e-trucks (each with 900 kWh battery storage).
