Roadshow Climate & Energy - Swiss Museum of Transport

As an extension of the "Experience Energy" exhibition at the Museum of Transport Lucerne, the electrically powered Galliker truck will go on the road from fall 2023. In collaboration with the Canton of Lucerne, the Museum of Transport will be bringing climate change, climate protection and mobility through renewable energies closer to the public.

The Climate and Energy Roadshow stops at various locations for different target groups. The truck, which is designed as an escape room, can be booked by schools as well as local authorities to inform and raise awareness among the population.

Topics of the roadshow:

Climate and energy
The consequences of climate change are made impressively visible at interactive stations. The connection between global energy supply and the associated greenhouse gas emissions is broken down.

Energy in everyday life and transportation
The vehicles in the roadshow are electrically powered and therefore embody sustainable mobility in practice. Visitors learn interesting facts about the development of Swiss energy consumption and receive sustainability and energy tips that are relevant to everyday life. The focus here is on how they relate to their own behavior.

Energy future 2050
Everyone is talking about the energy transition. But what exactly is it all about? What role do risk prevention, climate protection and local value creation play?

Only those who have acquired sufficient knowledge in all three areas will be able to answer the questions in the escape room inside the truck.

Imbach puts high-performance photovoltaic system into operation

In a further step towards a sustainable energy supply, Imbach Logistik AG was able to commission a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system at the Imbach headquarters in Schachen at the beginning of October. The new system has an impressive output of 1,156 kWp and produces around 1,204 MWh of electricity per year. This provides enough energy to supply around 256 households for a year.
