Galliker with hydrogen trucks in use for Nestlé

In December 2020, Nestlé presented a climate action plan: The Group wants to halve its emissions by 2030 and reduce them to net zero by 2050. Galliker is supporting its long-standing customer in achieving this goal: a hydrogen truck is on the road exclusively for Nestlé as part of a "dedicated service".

It transports goods from the factories to the distribution centers and channels as well as customers. The truck is powered by green hydrogen from the Gösgen hydropower plant and only emits water vapor. It is therefore completely CO2-neutral on the road. Nestlé is a partner of the support association Galliker Green Logistics and is helping to speed up the introduction of cleaner electric and hydrogen vehicles. With this commitment, Nestlé and the other partners of the association are making a direct, verifiable and sustainable contribution to reducing CO2 emissions.
