In a presentation, CEO Peter Galliker told attendees about the family-owned company's efforts in the area of green logistics and the very positive experiences with the new Hyundai XCIENT Fuel Cell Truck. The forum provided an overview of possible applications and stages of the value chain, current findings in research and development as well as political framework conditions and strategies. Speakers included representatives from the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, the Swiss Federal Office of Energy, NOW GmbH and Avenergy Suisse.

Imbach puts high-performance photovoltaic system into operation

In a further step towards a sustainable energy supply, Imbach Logistik AG was able to commission a state-of-the-art photovoltaic system at the Imbach headquarters in Schachen at the beginning of October. The new system has an impressive output of 1,156 kWp and produces around 1,204 MWh of electricity per year. This provides enough energy to supply around 256 households for a year.
